Four in five parents make at least one doing error. These errors could result in the child suffering serious health consequences.
- 1 in 5 parents made dosing errors that was twice the dose listed on the label.
- Oral syringes were more effective in reducing dosing errors as compared to dosing cups. Parents are four times more likely to make an error when using a cup rather than a syringe.
- When it comes to antibiotics, any error could have serious health implications to a child.
