The treatment of blocked noses can be difficult as some are resistant to the usual steroid, antihistamine or anticholinergic sprays. Sometimes there is a significant bend in the nasal septum which needs surgery. Often though it is the inferior turbinate which blocks the breathing channel at the front of the nose.
