Big tonsils cause a lot of problems to patients. Recurring sore throats with time off work, snoring, sleep apnoea, bad taste and bad breath. Sometimes a lump sensation when swallowing and restricted breathing, even through the nose.

This was a large right tonsil, now reduced to less than 50% of its original size after one laser tonsillectomy under local anaesthetic spray in clinic. One or two more procedures and it will be pretty much invisible.
