Not all tonsil stones are obvious. Laser tonsillectomy under local anaesthetic spray will help both.

On the left an obvious tonsil stone. On the right two holes in the tonsils, when using the HD scope you can see deep in the left hand hole there is a stone. It’s always good to see them to confirm the diagnosis prior to laser tonsillectomy under local anaesthetic spray.
