Post op turbinoplasty - opening up the nasal valve

This patient underwent holmium yag laser turbinoplasty under local anaesthetic in clinic, the aim being to reduce the inferior turbinate size at the level of the nasal valve. the inferior turbinate is to the left of the picture, with a nice divot taken out. Successful op in terms of appearance, but the patient still feels a bit blocked at 4 weeks post op. As time passes the patient should start to notice the improvement.
